About

The Art Of The Kickstart podcast exists for one simple reason…

…to help inventors and entrepreneurs successfully crowdfund. We’re here to help you, the innovators and creators of the future, build incredible businesses. Everything we do here at Art of the Kickstart is to help you start your own business and create something amazing through crowdfunding.

Here you’ll find hundreds of interviews with crowdfunding campaign creators who share their stories, struggles and the lessons they’ve learned, along with an array of blog posts, tutorials and case studies looking at some of the most successful Kickstarter and Indiegogo projects.

But Why Is Crowdfunding So Critical?

Technology is advancing at an ever-increasing rate as great minds and incredible ideas collide.

Crowdfunding is at the forefront of this unparalleled adventure. We’re living in a day and age where anyone can literally launch a business from their basement. The power and change of individuals everywhere can now manifest with the crowd and a little hard work is unfathomable. Entrepreneurs and inventors who’d once be relegated to small-scale DIY projects are now unleashing their passions to the world.

Our History

After spending time as a mechanical engineer in corporate America, founder Matt Ward became inspired by crowdfunding, inventors, and the spirit of entrepreneurship behind it all. Since the first episode went live in July 2014, he has gone on to help many crowdfunders raise the funds needed to launch their business through the podcast, the Crowdfund Academy, and consulting work.

In August 2015, Matt launched the FBA ALLSTARS podcast. As this podcast quickly grew alongside Art of the Kickstart, Matt began looking for a way to provide even more value to crowdfunding creators. Enter Enventys Partners, the leading crowdfunding agency in the world. Matt saw Enventys Partners as a way to make an even bigger impact in the lives of crowdfunders globally, and in November 2015 the agency took over day-to-day operations of the podcast.

With more than $350 million raised through crowdfunding, Enventys Partners is able to bring a unique perspective to the podcast. Because the agency has been working in crowdfunding since 2011, President of Enventys Partners Roy Morejon and his team have seen the way crowdfunding has transformed over the years, and consistently make a huge impact on the Kickstarter and Indiegogo campaigns they work with.
